          Welcome to the Reaffirmation of Accreditation website for Atlanta Metropolitan College (AMC).  "Believe, Begin, Become" captures the experience that AMC has provided its students over the past three decades, since its founding in 1974. Our mission simply is to provide students the educational foundation,  technological  tools, and life skills that equip them to achieve their  dreams and career goals.  The Reaffirmation of Accrediation process affords us the oppportunity to reflect and self-evaluate our mission, and ensure that  students are  delivered an accessible, high quailty education, at an affordable cost.  AMC wholeheartedly embraces the  reaffirmation process, as it allows all constituencies of the College and community to engage in a concerted effort to make AMC an even stronger institution.  A new requirement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) reaffirmation process is the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), which is a five year plan that allows institutions to address their most important student learning outcome need. We are very excited about this opportunity for Atlanta Metropolitan College.
